I can't believe how quickly this project got funded. We were in such need of markers and colored pencils, and now the two drawers are full! The students use these materials daily for fun projects we do in Science and Health. They love to sketch in pencil first, trace their work in markers, and then erase the pencil marks! \r\nFor example, we do weekly \"kind kid\" cards for a classmate and they decorate it after they wrote something nice about the person. These always come out so nice. We also just learned about the lungs and brain, and we drew, labeled, and colored some diagrams of those.\r\nThe students are starting to take more pride in their work and are putting in the extra effort.
