Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are incredibly collaborative, creative, and vibrant individuals who thrive when working together on hands-on activities, tech projects, and group discussions. They bring so much energy to our classroom community, which is why creating a clean, welcoming, and sensory-friendly learning environment is so vital to their daily success and focus.

Each of these resources will directly support their learning by optimizing our physical space.

Because my students share a lot of materials, high-touch surfaces, and workspaces throughout the day, keeping the room sanitized is essential. These wipes help drastically reduce the spread of germs, leading to fewer sick days and ensuring consistent, uninterrupted instructional time for everyone. We also utilize digital screens daily for lessons, interactive platforms, and student projects. Smudged, dusty screens can cause major visual distractions and eye strain. These wipes will keep our tech clean, clear, and ready for optimal student engagement. A classroom full of energetic students can quickly succumb to stale air and overpowering odors, which can be highly distracting and sensory-overwhelming. The plug-ins will provide a continuous, subtle freshness, while the mist allows for quick resets between classes. By maintaining a clean, pleasant-smelling atmosphere, we eliminate sensory triggers, helping students stay calm, grounded, and completely focused on their learning.
