Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books and resources I’m requesting will deepen my skills in supporting students’ emotional and behavioral needs. For example, Assessment and Treatment Activities for Children, Adolescents, and Families will provide me with effective techniques to tailor interventions to individual student challenges. Help Anxious Kids in a Stressful World offers practical strategies I can use to reduce anxiety in the classroom, helping students stay focused and engaged. Emotions for Teens and Tweens will support me in teaching emotional intelligence through visuals, making complex feelings easier to understand.

The Conducting School-Based Functional Behavioral Assessments guide will enhance my ability to identify and address behavior issues systematically, leading to more effective support plans.

Together, these resources will help me grow professionally by improving my intervention techniques and creating a welcoming space where students feel safe, heard, and supported.
