Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Common Core can be difficult for special-needs students. They struggle daily with the difficult math concepts. My students love to learn and they try each and every day. They come to school excited and willing to work as hard as possible!
They live in a low-income community.
They receive free or reduced lunch. They enjoy school and they work hard all day long. They love learning new things. They also love working in small-structured groups. They are special needs children. They love using art while depicting various authors such as: Dr. Seuss, Patricia Polacco and Eric Carle.
My Project
My students will use this MacBook along with the Common Core curriculum. They will be able to work on interactive math problems with an online tutor. They will be able to work in small groups with the MacBook while learning difficult math concepts. They will learn how to solve more difficult Common Core math problems. They will be able to incorporate art activities within in ELA lessons. My plan is to empower my students through various art activities while using the macbook.
This Macbook will make such a difference in the lives of my students!
They will be able to incorporate various art websites while learning about authors and illustrators! We will be so thankful and appreciative if you choose to fund our project!
