This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books enable the formation of small reading groups in the class, featuring engaging and meaningful content. The aim is to instill a love for reading among students by tailoring the material to their reading levels, fostering confidence and accessibility to the curriculum.

The primary goal is to establish small reading groups within the classroom.

Many existing class sets surpass the current reading levels of my students. Acquiring books at their reading proficiency will enhance confidence and enable them to effectively engage with the associated curriculum.

Each student possesses distinctive skills, interests, learning styles, and backgrounds. These requested books are designed to celebrate the individual qualities of my students and cater to their diverse needs. By providing these tools, we seek to unlock the joy of reading in a manner that aligns with their unique attributes.
