My Project

I am lucky enough to be the advisor for the Outstanding Women of Leadership Society at my school! Female identifying students apply every spring to become a part of this group of leaders ready to make change in our community! Each year we hold an induction ceremony, celebrate our graduating seniors, as well as design a project for change in our community. This year, our focus is not only celebrating women in our community, but trying to beautify the building and create positive messaging for everyone to see.

We need materials in order to implement our project for change!

We are requesting supplies to help beautify our school and make improvements to our induction ceremony. The bulletin board materials will be used to create a society bulletin board to celebrate our group and female leaders as well as create a board we will update regularly to help students learn strategies and spread positive messaging. The candles and holders will be used for our induction ceremony every spring and the honors chords will be used for our seniors to wear at their graduation ceremony. The feminist stickers will be used for team building with our group as well as rewards. Finally, the white vinyl will be used to create sweatshirts for the group so that they can show community and pride.
