This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out on behalf of my students, who come from a low-income area and face challenges, including arriving late to receive the free breakfast provided at our school.

Nutritious snacks like rice cakes and healthy popcorn that fill their hungry bellies, to hygiene products like deodorant can establish a clean and comfortable learning environment.

I believe that having healthy snacks readily available, such as rice cakes or healthy popcorn, can make a significant difference in their daily lives and ensure that no student goes through the day hungry.

Additionally, as fifth graders, hygiene becomes even more crucial. Your assistance in providing travel-size deodorants for both girls and boys will help cover up strong smells, contributing to a clean and positive classroom atmosphere.

Your generous contribution will not only address immediate needs but also contribute to creating a holistic and nourishing environment for our students. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their well-being and educational experience.
