My Project

My students are always asking for more books in our library. They are starting to ask for very specific books that stretch their understanding.

Many are looking for books about science and history to understand the world around them.

Others are looking for books to navigate big feelings and relationships with their friends. They all are looking for diverse books to reflect the backgrounds of themselves and their friends.

Having Diverse literature is so important to create critical thinkers and cultivate a positive relationship with reading. My hope if that my students will all be able to find a book they love right in our classroom!
