This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Even though we are doing much better with Covid, our students are still dealing with the repercussion of the pandemic. Since most students have been home for so long, they are now showing signs of anxiety to a lot of different stressors. Seeing so many feelings on my young people's faces inspire me to provide them with some stress relief materials to alleviate their anxiety and increase their will for learning. Students need consistency, and a stable environment to be able to fully learn and that has been nearly impossible during the pandemic.

These arts and crafts supplies will help my students have the tools to provide them with stress relief when we meet in small groups and are able to create different items to take home. It has been a stressful time the past few years and I want to provide a space for my students to relax and create arts and crafts projects in a stress-free environment!
