My Project

I have four different classes, including geography, psychology, and teaching and training (multiple levels). While my roster shows only high-school-level students, my classroom welcomes students from all grade levels, including elementary kiddos. My teaching and training students work directly with K-5 children, building lesson plans, curriculum, and activities that supplement their learning growth and imagination. This is why I included the slime kit, parachute, coloring posters, LEGO, and more! My geography students are exploring the world for the first time, using art supplies and tools to understand our world and what it means to be a human rotating on this planet. My psychology students will be learning how the brain works and what that means in our society. This is also why I included LEGO, paper easels, and other artistic tools.

These supplies will help bring projects to life, create critical thinking skills, and allow my students to be kids at the end of the day.

The printer cartridges help my students print out colorful images to use for bulletin boards, posters, and portfolios. I was thankfully able to afford a color printer for our classroom due to a previous DonorsChoose project.

I’m also blessed with an extremely large classroom due to the nature of my teaching and training course. The HDMI extender helps connect two screens in the room so that all students will be able to see videos, presentation slides, and directions clearly no matter where they sit.
