My Students

My students are asked to put up with so many things falling apart at our school. One thing my students deserve are books that are in good condition and accurately represent the exciting images and content of Earth science.

My students are invested in my class, they crave the knowledge of the world around them.

When I deliver my end of our learning contract they are engaged, inquisitive, and great. They love asking questions and enjoy the process of answering them in science. Unfortunately I am not always able to provide them the greatest visuals or appropriate reading material given a lack of supplies and funds at our school.

My Project

The pictures and descriptions inside this text jump off the page and get me excited to teach the next day. They will serve as an enriching tool for all my learners. I am particularly excited to use them for my higher level readers and students with higher entering level knowledge of science. I will be able to use them to teach literacy skills as well as use them for visual aids for concepts such as weather, rocks and minerals, ocean science, soil science, and plate tectonics.
