My Students

Our small rural community in southwest Missouri is a snapshot of the simpler times found in rural America past. Hard work, a firm handshake, helpful neighbors, plain talk, old-school values, and pride in a job well done are at the core, even as the population has diminished and the economy has suffered.

My student-athletes are hard-working, conscientious, goal-oriented, and embrace challenges to obtain success!

I am the strength, speed, and conditioning instructor for grades 7-12 as well as being the head football coach in the Fall over both the high school and junior high programs. I also coach all jumpers in track and field in the Spring.

My Project

Approximately 65 athletes in grades 7-12 will have access to our team sports training facility where they are taught how to safely execute dynamic lifts in order to improve their overall athletic skills and strength levels. The athletes I train compete in Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Track & Field, Baseball, and Softball at the high school competitive level. The power cage allows us to perform a multitude of different sport-specific exercises and lifts while utilizing a smaller space in our facility than individual machines. My athletes take great pride in the equipment and opportunities as we work to improve and raise our level of play. They are highly motivated, protective, and appreciative of the support they are shown.
