Comparing anatomies and discussing differences in growth rates and life spans has been an amazing adventure for the students. We have used the materials during our studies of ecology and human body systems. \r\nWe are learning to care for and nourish parts of our ecosystem. We are learning the bones of the body using models. We are using augmented reality to get up close inside the human body to view cells and processes. \r\nWe have gone above and beyond the original plan for these project materials. They were super excited to help me unbox and prepare our new materials. We began our study of mitosis by learning the phases. We then moved on to the real-world application by using the microscopes and slides. \r\n Our unit of study has been more exciting with the additions to our curriculum. The students are creating a flip book of mitosis and being able to see the steps in reality along with the images in our study has been very useful for their understanding of the phases.\r\nThank you again for the kindness you have shown us in Jasper High School.
