Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"Nothing Great Can Be Accomplished Without Enthusiasm"-Ralph Waldo Emerson. I believe that every student should be able to have the enthusiasm for learning and these materials will help create an outgoing, exciting environment for all my students to learn and grow.
I have a group of 26 enthusiastic kindergarten students who are going to be entering a full day program for the first time.
I want to ensure that the materials I have for them will allow them to succeed in the rigorous curriculum that our district has set forth for Kindergarten. The students that I work with are excited and enthused for school and I want to have the materials to meet the needs of every student!
My Project
I am requesting three different literacy centers for independent center work. These materials will allow for my students to have fun, exciting, and meaningful experiences during center time. It will give them options to learn and grow as well as allow me to differentiate and instill upon them the importance of language and literacy in everyday life. I have also requested some Library bins for my growing library. Currently my library has many different looks to it. These bins will allow me to create a meaningful and cohesive non fiction section for my students.
I want to be able to give my students the best possible start to their educational career.
Kindergarten is one if the most important grades to create and enthusiasm for learning. I want to be that inspiration to these kids, be that teacher that instills an enthusiasm for learning and these materials will help aid in that process!
