I am currently the teacher in the Chicago Public Schools system in Illinois. I have a group of 23 curious and courageous kindergarten students ranging from 4 to 6 years old. This age range is both very exciting and very difficult. Finding reading, math, and science activities that appeal to, and enhance the learning for all of these students is key to increase competency in all areas. Many of my students are ELL. All of my students are very excited about school and I want to give them the best possible materials to help them learn. Our school is a neighborhood school and has a great support system built from the administration and extends to the families and students in the neighborhood. These resources will help me to reach all of my students in many different meaningful ways.
