This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have several students who have been struggling greatly with reading and screeners showed that several students have Dyslexia characteristics. I would like to provide my students with the tools and resources necessary to help them achieve success.

Brightly colored reading and overlay strips, Highlighters, and ADHD Finger Trackers help to limit the transposing of words and letters.

They minimize rereading lines and lack of concentration, helping them overcome their reading difficulties and focus their attention. The decodables use a carefully selected special font for dyslexic readers to enhance the reading experience. The additional resource books have a multitude of activities to make learning fun.

The materials purchased will be used in multiple settings. Students can use the dyslexia tools in all classes throughout the day. The reader books can be read in small groups and will ensure that my students have several opportunities to use the interventions.
