Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are gifted and talented both in seventh and eighth grades and I hope to provide more STEM-related activities for them this year as well as transforming my classroom to foster students who are more Gifted and Talented.

My class consists of about 130 students.

They are thinkers, innovators, leaders and care for others. They strive for excellence and area always curious. They do their best not just in academics but also in the arts and extracurricular activities.

My Project

The way students see and interact with the lesson is a very important aspect of learning. Students usually have a partially blocked view of the front of the board unless they are in the very front. This is where the teacher usually ends up standing and so the front of the classroom tends to be where the focus goes. This means that the students in the back and the sides get less attention and have an obstructed view of the classroom, hindering learning at those areas.

By donating to this project, you can help transform the classroom so that all spaces and all angles of the classroom will have unobstructed views of the lessons, opening up the entire room as a learning space since every seat will become a "front row" seat.

This will increase student engagement and so improve student achievement.

In addition, this addition of added screens will also be used in the Esports Club at SW TAG! Please help make our Esports Club grow! This is the 3rd out of 4 needed monitors.
