This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle schoolers are eager to take their programming skills to the next level. While they have mastered the basics of block coding, transitioning to text-based languages like Python can sometimes feel intimidating. That is where the CoDrone EDU comes in!

With this classroom set of 12 programmable drones, my students will have a hands-on, engaging way to see their code physically take flight.

They will learn real-world Python programming by writing scripts to navigate the drones through obstacle courses, master the fundamentals of flight physics, and collaborate in teams to choreograph their own complex, music-synced LED light shows.

By funding this project, you are giving hundreds of future engineers and computer scientists the cutting-edge tools they need to confidently bridge the gap between basic coding and advanced, real-world programming.
