This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students and I are in need of updates to our class. Their "turn-it-in" cart is damaged from wear and tear. Our class lacks functional storage, which creates a chaotic environment. Having an organized room will help my students focus in class, along with flexible seating options. The overhead fluorescent lighting causes headaches for both my students and me, so LED lights would be a great alternative.
Help us create a comfortable environment where my students have the freedom to express themselves.
My goal as a teacher is to create an inviting space where students are open to each other and feel confident to perform in front of their peers. Anything to make my room more functional, relaxing, and organized will improve my students' comfort with presentations and collaboration. As a bonus, I also included socks for our puppetry unit!
