My Project

This project will provide three simple but highly useful classroom tools that students will use throughout the school year.

The best ideas don't always happen at a desk.

Clear clipboards will give students a sturdy drawing surface whenever they work on the floor. They will also be used during observational drawing activities, sketching around the classroom, and other lessons that require students to move beyond their tables. Having a stable surface allows students to focus on their artwork instead of balancing paper on the floor.

Magnetic dry erase boards will become a favorite part of our classroom choice time. Students will use them to practice drawing techniques, play art vocabulary games, solve creative drawing challenges, and quickly sketch ideas before beginning larger projects. Because mistakes can be erased instantly, students are more willing to experiment, take creative risks, and try new ideas.

Milk crates will provide much-needed storage for classroom materials and works in progress. Organized storage helps keep supplies accessible, protects student artwork, and allows valuable instructional time to be spent creating instead of searching for materials.

These resources will be used by hundreds of students throughout the year, making them a lasting investment that supports creativity, organization, and hands-on learning every day.
