Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are second graders who bring a smile to my face every day! Their energy, curiosity, creativeness, and willingness to learn are admirable. My classroom and school provide a safe learning environment that is helping students integrate technology in effective ways that target different learning styles.

As a bilingual and STEM teacher, each student has the ​opportunity to use educational technology to create and embrace the use of many educational apps that enhance our curriculum and provide an avenue for problem-solving and creativity.

Almost everything they do is connected to technology. Currently, 75% of my students are learning from home due to the pandemic.

My Project

There is always a need for new and stimulating resources in any classroom. Recently, because of COVID19 and Distant learning, Teachers Pay Teachers was one of my 'go to' for distant learning enrichment and core activities. Although students are back in classroom TPT continues to be a great tool. The activities can be used on Google Classroom, Seesaw, or downloaded. I have found many lessons created by teachers that can supplement almost any subject and lesson. It's a great access to many fun and creative lessons can be made possible with just click.

This project will help with access to best practices, insights, and solutions.
