Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, resilient learners who show up every day ready to try—even when the math feels difficult—and that determination is what makes them special. They don’t give up easily; instead, they respond to support, feedback, and encouragement, and they grow when instruction is clear, responsive, and consistent.

The goal of this project is to create a more efficient, focused, and responsive learning environment by improving my ability to monitor, teach, and support students in real time.

In a classroom where students are working across multiple digital platforms, I am constantly balancing instruction with managing tools like GoGuardian, IXL, grading systems, attendance, and lesson materials. Switching between screens interrupts instructional flow and delays my ability to respond to student needs in the moment.

This 27-inch ColorPro monitor will make a direct difference in student learning by allowing me to view multiple systems at once instead of constantly toggling between tabs. I will be able to monitor student activity while teaching, track progress in real time, and adjust instruction immediately based on what I see. For example, I can keep GoGuardian open to ensure students are on task while simultaneously displaying lesson content, or review IXL progress while checking which students need intervention.

This will improve student learning by allowing me to:

Respond to off-task behavior immediately and keep students engaged

Identify struggling students faster and provide timely support

Give more consistent and quicker feedback on assignments

Maintain smoother, uninterrupted instruction

Spend more time working directly with students instead of managing screens

Ultimately, this resource helps me achieve my goal of being more present, more responsive, and more effective during instruction. My students benefit most when I can focus on teaching and supporting them in the moment they need it, and this monitor will make that possible.
