My Project

When we feel hot and sweaty it is very difficult concentrate and everyone gets a bit cranky. We love our old building because of its charm and homey feeling but ever since we have to keep our classroom doors closed for safety purposes, we are melting from the heat.

Fresh air and a comfortable environment are important for learning.

We work hard everyday on our academics, social skills, and community service projects- it gets quite steamy in a room with thirty kids and their teacher! Every Spring and Fall we struggle to block the hot sun and have the window open for a breeze at the same time.
