My Project

My students love to play outside with their friends; however, we lack some basic equipment to keep them engaged in different activities. While we have a playground, we don't have access to sports equipment or games for groups of students. We would love to have some basketball hoops and soccer goals to allow for students to learn how to be a team player and take turns when playing a game. The individual items like hula hoops, ball toss, and the bowling game will allow for solitary play or taking turns and comparing how others play with the same item. These items will help build a foundation of love of sports and the outdoors for my urban students who may not get the exposure anywhere else.
