Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of fun-loving kids who want to learn! Many of my students are English language learners and have limited exposure to English at home, so as their teacher it is my responsibility to expose them to as much as possible. My school has limited resources and we work hard to provide as much for our students as possible.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela.

This is what my school is all about. We try to give our students all of the knowledge we can; however, we can so that they are able to continue and grow into amazing young people who will change the world.

My Project

These read aloud books will help educate my students on the topic of diversity and equality whether they are learning at home or in person. These books will help educate my students on accepting everyone, no matter who they are!

It is important that every student understand that people are different and we should accept everyone for who they are because everyone is unique and special in their own way.

My students love to listen to stories and discuss what they have learned and with these read aloud picture books my students will have multiple opportunities to do just that. They will be able to learn about diversity, justice, acceptance, and equality. They will be able to learn how everyone, no matter who they are, is unique and important!
