Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Title I, Montessori school is as unique as the students that attend the school. It's diverse, artistic and talented students have a passion to learn. Many of my students are ESL, SPED and GT. So, my challenge as their teacher, is to meet each and every student's needs with tools to assist in their learning process. Especially, during this pandemic, I'm trying to gather the supplies needed to help teach my students with distance learning.
My Project
Do you have a specific learning style? There are so many different ways of learning, whether it's visual, auditory, kinesthetic.
I want my students to have every opportunity to assist with their learning, especially if they are doing distance learning.
By using a document camera, this will help many visual learners especially my ELL students with their lessons. For example, with writing samples. If I have student's samples, I can quickly display with a document camera and as a whole group, we can discuss it. A document camera can truly simply the learning process.
