By providing the flex seating, it will assist my SPED and behavioral students in our active classroom environment. Flex seating will give them the freedom to move about during the school day and not stay stationary at a desk. Also, this is a Montessori school, which encourages flex seating for all the students. At this point, I only have some rugs and three lap desks to allow students more of a flex style seating option. I notice students really focus better when given the option of flex seating. I'm excited about the possibility of this project and it allowing me various options for my amazing students. I look forward to the difference this will make with our students.
