Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a public Title I school in Miami, Florida. My classroom consists of a combo setting. Students at my school are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! My students each day are ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

My students crave structure, consistency, love, care, and engaging lessons!

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are. The school and I do the best we can to provide for the students, but sometimes we need extra help.

My Project

Obtaining a Teacher Pay Teacher gift card will be so useful to help me purchase resources for small group, reteaching, extra practice, homework, and classwork. My students will use and benefit from the resources because I will be able to share the different resources using the school's learning platforms.

This gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will help me purchase different resources such as reteaching a skill that my students may not have understood so well or need to be retaught.

I am a big user of Teacher Pay Teacher resources. There are some inspirational authors and teachers who like to share their resources and we are limited on funds to purchase such resources. Please provide us with this gift card by donating to this project. Thank you!
