My Students

My students are passionate about art! They create with purpose and meaning, and make some amazing work in the process of expressing themselves. I challenge my students continually to be reflecting on their own artwork through each step of the creating process, so that they will continue to grow and to find their own artistic voice.

My students have proven they are resilient by adapting to all of the changes and challenges that have come along with COVID-19.

They have been flexible and understanding when so many of our plans have changed.

My Project

Having a proper digital camera for photographing student artwork will be a game changer. Students will be able to take great quality photographs that are much better than the average cell phone camera that most students use to photograph their work. With quality photographs students will be more likely to get submissions accepted into art shows and galleries. Students will also be able to create a professional looking portfolio of all the artwork they have created. Having a portfolio of well photographed artwork will give students opportunities for art related awards and scholarships.
