Class sizes with as many as 40 students can make doing demonstrations for the whole class at once nearly impossible. I do demonstrations in my classroom every day, and with my large class sizes and no document camera I almost always have to split my class into 2 to 4 groups and demo to each group one at a time. A document camera for the art room would allow all 40 of my students to see a demonstration at once, saving very important time. That time could be spent working with students one on one, answering any questions students may have, or many other things.
