Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first-grade students really enjoy hands-on activities. The next unit of study includes Earth and dinosaurs that roamed the Earth. What better way to learn about dinosaurs than by exploring with their hands.

My students will feel like real paleontologists, digging up dinosaurs fossils and gemologists, digging up gemstones.

The dinosaur egg excavation kit will encourage them to learn about dinosaurs and the science of paleontology in a fun, hands-on way. The gemstones kit will promote student curiosity about the natural world and the formation of gemstones. I am also requesting wipes so that students will be able to clean up their areas after they have excavated their fossils. Please consider donating to our project.
