They created an introductory activity, \"All About Me,\" where they could talk about themselves, their identities, and their favorite foods and sports. Last week, I purchased an all-year morning work (math and ELA) for my students to work independently. Every morning, they get their binders and work on these daily sheets, practicing phonics, reading comprehension, spelling, numbers, shapes, and more. For those students who struggle with reading, I purchased decodable passages that we can practice daily for blending and decoding consonant-vowel-consonant CVC words.\r\nFurthermore, I got some visuals for my students, such as a hydration station for water bottles, staying on their seats, being kind, responsible, respectful, and safe. For my focus wall, I have purchased visuals for Unit 1 of CKLA/ELA: Fairy Tales and Tall Tales. My students are learning about the characters, setting, plot, and moral of a story. Teacher Pay Teachers offers many resources to address students' learning needs.
