My students are amazing! They are enthusiastic, intellectually curious, and ready to learn every day they walk through our classroom door. Our diverse public school is Title I (federal funding for children of low-income families), where all students receive free breakfast and lunch, and most speak a second language. It is located in the inner-city, in a high-need community, where access to resources can be limited. Even though most are faced with situations beyond their own control, my little learners continue to be positive, optimistic, and resilient.
