This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our soccer team is comprised of dedicated, passionate, and eager young adults who are focused on improving themselves athletically, academically, and personally. Through the sport of soccer and being part of a team, our student-athletes will use the donated equipment to hone their skills and grow together as a team and as individuals.

Sports provide an opportunity for traits such as discipline, responsibility, and leadership to thrive.

With these crucial supplies, our student-athletes will be afforded the opportunity to build in areas such as defending, goal scoring, accuracy, anticipation, quick decision making, and confidence in their innate and learned abilities. As a team, they will continue to be disciplined, grow as competitors, and serve as examples of leaders on the field and within our school community.
