My Project

Drop everything and read (D.E.A.R.) time is a regularly set time within the library specific to students silently reading books and materials of their choice. This specific time accommodates a wide variety of interests and skill levels.

Providing flexible seating options for my students gives them the choice of where they would like to sit and read in the library, as well as what they would like to sit on.

This strategy will also provide a calm environment necessary for students to transition from the library back into their classrooms.
