Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I would like to provide an end of the year awards banquet for my dance team girls and boys and their families. Our project requests food for our banquet. These materials will help provide a catered, end of the year banquet for my students. By donating to our project, you will be helping to celebrate the ending of a great competitive season!

I want to honor my students with a Dance Team banquet to recognize all of their hard work.

Last year we had a great banquet that the students loved. The previous year due to Covid-19, our banquet was cancelled, and we held an awards banquet on Zoom, but it just was not the same as a traditional banquet.

Our dance team has had an excellent year including being featured on the news and participating in the Whitehaven parade. Our end of the year banquet will be a lovely way to conclude our year together. This project will provide food for a Taco Bar including soft and hard shells, ground beef, chicken, and of course hot and honey gold wings. We truly appreciate your contributions to team sports and DonorsChoose.org!
