Our elementary school has approximately 350 students, with 30% of those students on free or reduced-price lunch. Our families are very supportive and we do our best. One behavior reward we want to provide for our students is a glow dance party!
My Project
The last two years in school have been stressful for students. Teachers seem to constantly be pressured to push curriculum and testing. Students feel that stress too.
Our school is looking for ways to reward good behavior, give students a mental health break and increase physical activity during these cold winter months.
Students will earn a chance to go to the dance party which gives all students a collective goal. It will build school community and cooperation. Our staff will work extra to create a happy, healthy active environment so that students can unwind and enjoy themselves!
