My Students

"High-need, high poverty, and high unemployment rate" are characteristics that describe our community, which makes it difficult for my 5th grade students to have the necessary tools to develop skills that will advance them. It is important for the students to continue to learn the important skills required in the competitive world.

Our 5th grade students at our school love reading, math, and science.

They become excited about the little things. Providing these essentials will make a world of difference in their knowledge of vocabulary, problem solving, and math skills. Our project is aimed at providing a variety of reading materials, as well as other supplies to assist with the classroom lessons. The supplies will continue to provide daily learning in many subject areas.

My Project

We need 10 dictionaries to look up definitions and 7 activity books for daily learning. The resources will provide a wider vocabulary, which will improve student's reading skills and comprehension, as well as increasing math and science problem solving skills.

Your assistance in providing materials for daily activities will make it possible for the students to be proficient in skills that are required for 5th grade.
