This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are BRILLIANT! Their ability to seek academic success in the midst of a world-wide pandemic is immeasurable. Our campus must provide face to face instruction for our students. Even though my students are concerned about health of their family and loved ones, they still attend school and put their best effort forward to learn all they can in a day.
Additionally, my students have imaginations that are outstanding.
Their ability to create and inquisitiveness about the world around them is what drives our classroom.
My Project
Paper, highlighters, and pencils make a daily impact on academic success. With many families still recouping financially, these supplies will lighten the load of my families since many families are not in a position to restock on school supplies. Students will have access to these resources daily and during standardized testing. Moreover, students will be able to take these resources home as needed to further support their learning efforts away from school. Moreover, the book series supports the continued advanced learning of my GT students while empowering my students while away from school.
