My Project

At our school, our students are composed of a majority of Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders who live on Hawaiian Homestead. These students come from the Leeward Coast of Oahu, from Nanakuli, Maili, Waianae, and Makaha. Our students are resilient, socially responsible, and resourceful.

Each day my students engage in lessons and activities that help them discover new ideas, but they also create opportunities for them to identify problems and ask questions.

My students understand that I want them to take risks with their ideas. This allows them to explore their thoughts and come up with innovative solutions so that can show others what is possible when they apply themselves creatively. For this project, we are requesting an XTOOL Air Assist and Riser Base for our laser cutter. With these materials, my students will be able to continue to showcase their creativity, knowledge, and skills with others and being safe while doing so. By embracing their inner innovator, my students have the tools to overcome the challenges of the future and give them the confidence to adapt.
