My Project

My students have been given the wonderful opportunity to get new iPad's this school year! Unfortunately, our classroom does not currently have headphones that are able to meet our needs. Cheaper headphones have been consistently breaking in our devices and my student's are not able to make the most out of their independent learning time. With all of the breaking headphones, it has become a huge distraction within the classroom to try to locate working headphones for each student.

Technology is utilized each day in the classroom and as headphones have been breaking, the noise pollution within the classroom has increased.

Many of the apps the students use require them to listen to instructions and have some form of interactive audio. Without headphones, students are forced to play the audio out loud which creates a significant amount of distraction and disruption within the class.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
