Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Pre-K students are just beginning their educational journey, and every day is filled with discovery, play, and growth. However, one challenge we face is keeping our classroom organized so that students can easily access their belongings and learning materials.

Right now, our classroom lacks proper storage space for student items like backpacks, coats and lunchboxes.

Without individual designated spaces, items often get misplaced, which can lead to confusion and lost learning time.

We are requesting sturdy, child-friendly cubbies that will give each student their own special place to store their belongings. Having individual cubbies will not only help keep our classroom neat and organized, but it will also teach our young learners responsibility, independence, and daily routines.

With cubbies in place, students will be able to confidently manage their own items.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
