Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have twenty-two amazing scholars that are filled with knowledge, creativity, and imagination. One thing my scholars enjoy doing is displaying their creativity through art.

My students never seize to amaze me because although they are small; they are filled with so much creativity and ideas that always include so much detail.

Their creativity fosters by providing themselves the opportunity to try out new ideas and new ways of thinking. The gallons of paint, crayons, and markers, are being used to be able to put their creative ideas and thoughts on paper. I chose the large sized construction paper because this gives them more opportunity to expand their thoughts and ideas because the size of the paper is so large. The kinetic sand is for my tactile friends that would like to express themselves in a different form. The kinetic sand will allow my scholars to express themselves in a way that provides sensory processing, promotes sense of calmness, and improve fine motor skills.
