My Project

My first-grade students are very curious and love to learn! They need hands-on materials to help keep their attention and interest. They learn best when provided with all types of teaching, including visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic methods.

Learning should be fun!

With our new curriculum in ELA, we are struggling to achieve this goal, as the content is there, but it is very matter-of-fact. My littles need something more engaging and memorable to make the new information stick! These creative materials: writing tablets to illustrate new vocabulary, construction paper to make art relating to astronomy, and the solar system model to give a visual will most definitely provide the movement and teaching methods my students need most to attain success!
