This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our first graders love to be creative. Unfortunately, our school does not have an art program/class. We do our best to teach our little ones about art and let them be creative whenever possible. "You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." Maya Angelou.

Every child is an artist, the problem is keeping them artist.

We are asking for tempera paint, pipe cleaners, beads, craft sticks, and other arts and crafts supplies to keep our first graders' creative minds' working. Please consider a donation to our "Creative Little Minds!" project.
