My Students

I teach 22 wonderful Kindergartners! This group of students are kind, loving, and accepting of others. They are special because they welcome those who are different and accept them into what we call “Our Class Family”. This included PALS students on campus—who are now being mainstreamed into our class. Their acceptance and love they pour out for others is extremely heart warming and something I am very proud to share.

My Project

As a new teacher, you want to provide everything overnight for your students. These materials will make a difference by helping my kinders with responsibility, build on their creativity, and have easy access for supplies such as crayons and scissors with the help of a colorful holder in the middle of their table groups. I am currently using hand me down milk cartons with colors on them as their crayon holders, which are amazingly creative and thought out. Although this works, you can imagine the wear over the years! Students will not be using these items for at home learning.
