Our students have a thirst to learn but not the supplies they need to be successful! I do not have the funding I need to teach my 750 students to my best ability! My students have been using stencils, crayons, and markers for years, but this is art class!
I want my students to experience ceramics hand-building!
They will love to make the projects I have in mind for them this year!
Almost every art teacher I have spoken to in Oklahoma City must sell their kiln because they cannot afford to buy clay! I'm here to tell you I refuse to give up! Please help me fund ceramics in my classroom!
Our school already has a kiln that was donated, but we have no money for clay and definitely not for glaze! We need clay and glaze!
Without funding, I may not be able to teach ceramics this year.
Your donations will help me buy seven 50lb bags of clay and about 20 different glazes so that my students' pottery can have color!
This year 4th and 5th graders will be creating an artist palette, ceramic wall art. The 2-3rd graders will make Van Gogh flower inspired bowls. Pk-1st grade will create “Earth Day” leaf bowls.
