Creating Memories in the Library

Help me give my students a memorable time in the Library by making cards for their community, paint like Frida Khalo, and make other creations to show to their family and friends.

My Project

I see all K- 6th grade the students once a week in the library and I try to make each class a fun experience. We typically read a book together and sometimes we play games and make arts and crafts. After a few weeks of read a louds, the students are asking what I have up my sleeve for 2023. I have told them, I hope they will make cool cards and crafts to share to with loved ones and community members. I hope that we will paint like Frida with water colors. I hope that we will have our special Loteria book give away game, where each student has the opportunity to get a free book to read over the break.
