Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students of our school make up a very diverse community with most students coming from a low socioeconomic background. I love that even through the hard times of this pandemic, these students are still enjoying learning and creating.

Our goal in STEM is to give students the opportunity to brainstorm ideas and create mocks ups that will lead to producing real world items.

We strongly encourage the leader in our students to rise up. They are proving every day that they are born leaders with creative minds. We want to expose them to opportunities they otherwise would not have to learn 21st century skills to be 21st century ready.

My Project

We have a very diverse body of students. Most of them come form low socioeconomic backgrounds.

This pandemic has made learning a little different this year, yet these students are still excited to learn and create.

We would like to expose our students to opportunities they would not otherwise experience.

We have students who are very creative, and the Cricut and 3D printer will give them the opportunity to brainstorm, create, and produce items within the classroom. Our goal is to teach them 21st century skills to get them 21st century ready. Thank you
