Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, our classroom is beginning to run low on supplies. Throughout the year, our Spanish classes have centered on engaging, creative projects—from designing food trucks to exploring Afro-Latino culture—and students have consistently put forth impressive effort and enthusiasm. We are asking for donations for supplies for projects (like the Post-It easel pads, markers, and pencils), cleaning supplies (the Swiffer and gloves), and organization for the classroom (labeler and organizers).

My goal as a teacher is to make Spanish both meaningful and relatable.

Creating that kind of learning environment requires a space that is not only clean and organized, but also well-stocked and inspiring. With the right materials, students can continue to fully engage in their work and take pride in what they create.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
